Description

The Sinister Six + The Flash's Rogues = The Rogue Six

Bested by the Scarlet Speedster on their own, six of his worst enemies decided to band together to form the Rogue Six, and marshal their combined might against the young hero in hopes of succeeding together when they failed individually.  Their number includes:

Dr. Grodd (Doctor Octopus + Gorilla Grodd)- Dr. Otto Grodd was a brilliant- if eccentric- scientist specializing in radiation and nuclear energy.  A frail man himself, Otto devised a special headset that allowed him to control the body of a silverback gorilla in order to allow him to engage in dangerous situations or work that required greater strength.  But an accident at the nuclear reactor Grodd was working at cause a massive explosion and severly damaged Grodd's human body.  Thinking quickly, Grodd transferred his mind fully into the body of the gorilla.  His life was saved, but Grodd's mind was warped and twisted in the encounter, making him criminally insane.  Gaining the body of a powerful gorilla, as well as incredibly mental powers, Dr. Grodd decided to use his newfound power and strength to take over the world.

Captain Electro (Electro + Captain Cold)- Leonard Dillion was an electrician and part-time hood.  When he was involved in an accident while working on a power line, Dillion found that his body could generate incredible amounts of electricity.  Dillion invented a special gun that allowed him to channel his newfound power into incredible electrical blasts that he could shape and form to his will.  Taking the name Captain Electro, Leonard embarked on a crime spree across the city that was only stopped by the Scarlet Speedster.

Mystery Master (Mysterio + Mirror Master) - Quentin Scudder was a stuntman who discovered a secret "mirror dimension."  Through it, he learned he could not only travel great distances, but also craft incredible, realistic illusions.  Fashioning himself the identity of the Mystery Master, Scudder clashed with the Scarlet Speester on many occasions, trying to match his illusions against the Speester's incredible speed and agility.

The Hunter (Kraven the Hunter + The Trickster)- Giovanni Kravinoff was a big game hunter and owner of Kravinoff's Circus.  Craving a greater challenge, Kravinoff decided to become a supervillain, and hunt what he considered the most dangerous game- superhumans.  His first target was the Scarlet Speedster.  While possessing no special abilities of his own aside from his own great strength, Kravinoff prides himself on his various array of gadgets and traps to help him defeat his opponents.  As "The Hunter," Kravinoff has proven himself to be one of the Speedster's more resilient foes.

Firebird (Vulture + Heatwave)- Adrian Rory was a brilliant engineered, but was shunned by his company due to his advanced age.  Adrian tried to convince the board of directors at his company of the advantages of his new fireproof suit, but they rejected his offer and laid him off before he could gain his pension.  Taking his plans with him, Adrian revised the plans, and devised new weaponry to go along with it, allowing him to project powerful currents of flames that formed makeshift wings that allowed him to fly and leaving flaming contrails in his wake.  Embarking on a destructive crime spree, Firebird was only brought to justice due to the efforts of the Scarlet Speedster.

Sandstorm (Sandman + Weather Wizard)- Flint Mardon was a common criminal.  Escaping from the law, Mardon tried to seek shelter with his brother, a well respected scientist.  Venturing to the location of his brother's latest experiment- that of a prototype weather control device- Mardon was caught in an backlash of the experiments first test activation and found his body forever altered.  Now Mardon could create and control vast storms of earth and wind.  Taking the name Sandstorm, Mardon continued on his criminal escapades until stopped by the Scarlet Speedster.

It's amalgam time again!  And it's back to the bad guys.

After mixing Spider-Man and the Flash, it seemed a natural to mix their respective rogues galleries.  Some of the blendings were a natural fit- Doc Ock and Gorilla Grodd for one.  But others weren't as easy, like Kraven and the Trickster or Vulture and Heatwave.  Still, I think that they are a decent blending that emphasizes the qualities of both groups of characters.
